Rich Campero

Rich Campero serves as Vice President of Engineering for Sensormatic Solutions, where he is responsible for the company's Software as a Service development, IoT Hardware and Firmware development and the Value Management organisations.

Prior to joining Sensormatic Solutions, Rich was CTO and co-founder of Vue Technology, which was a startup company and leading provider of item-level RFID infrastructure that delivered measurable value through improved inventory visibility for clients in Clothing, Footwear, Books, Media & Entertainment and Pharmacy verticals. Vue Technology was acquired by Sensormatic Solutions in 2008. After the acquisition, Rich was a Distinguished Fellow at JCI working with various Engineering and Architecture groups across the organisation and re-joined Sensormatic Solutions in 2024.

Rich has a bachelor's degree with honours in chemical engineering from Purdue University and a PhD in chemical engineering from Iowa State University.
